Connecting Food, Farmers, Land, Watersheds and Climate
Agriculture is treated as mother of all other industries. For feeding 9 billion humans, apart from raising livestocks, we will need agriculture.
We at VraiSense are acting at core to solve the purposes by knowing some facts & figures as basis, understanding precisely the challenges & required actions and solving the purposes with our first-hand experiences and collective expertises.
By 2050 the world’s human population will likely increase by more than 35 percent to around 9 billion. To feed that population, crop production will need to double.
Scientifically, existing agriculture footprints have the potential of 58 percent increase in global food production, more than multiplexed politics can do. Around 25 world’s food calories and up to 50 of total food weight, in percentage are lost or wasted before they can be consumed.
We have to find more efficient ways to grow meat and shifting to less meat-intensive diets, as for every 100 calories of grain we feed animals, we get about 40 new calories of milk (b) 22 calories of eggs (c) 12 of chicken (d) 10 of pork (e) 3 of beef.
To solve the world’s food dilemma, grow more food but preserve the environment too, apart from making it resilient is a huge mechanism and needs a multi-lateral approach. Our primary aim is to help customers and partners in the synchronising their conventional approaches with innovative and standardised digital processes in agricultural innovations. Together everyone achieve more with lesser resources and within lesser time.
At VraiSense, we are acting at the core of agriculture resource management. Bending thought process - where we grow, what we grow, which we grow and how we grow. Engaged in agriculture-research that allows to grow more on existing agriculture's footprints.
We are enabling our partners in knowing and maintaining soil quality, conserving water, and building up nutrients form the basis.
Our exposures made us realised that even when we have all resources in abundance and in place it won't guarantee that we are performing and using resources in optimise manner. Redundancies are contributing more in consuming our critical resources, time and energy, than absence of them, ultimately tending us towards a state of literally empowered but logically inefficient. Habitat suitability forms the core of our scientific approach
The optimisation strategy needs comprehensiveness and inter-disciplinary mindset, that essentially requires a big shift in thinking how we think and plan before we start acting. To justify what, when, and why which less is more and which more is less important for solving the purpose-scientificlly and digitally.
